Dr. Eyal Meiron takes us to the ancient waterworks of the City of David, together with the excavators Prof. Ronny Reich and Eli Shukron, to explain—with clear, humorous animation—how the people of Jerusalem obtained water during a siege 4000 years ago. Using original 3D simulations, the film illustrates the strength of the fortifications around the Gihon Spring and sheds new light on the Canaanite civilization that existed in Jerusalem for many years before it became the capital of the Jewish people in the time of King David.
