Reading is situated on the Great Western Main Line. The station has 15 platforms. Train operating companies serving passengers include Great Western Railway, Elizabeth Line (MTR), Cross Country Trains, and South Western Railway. Freight companies also pass through. The station has some of the best facilities on the network. There are not many stations once you go through the ticket barriers that can compete with Reading. Numerous shops and places to eat and drink. There are plenty of waiting rooms, toilets, and staff on hand to answer queries. My video covers a two-hour period on a Wednesday afternoon. I filmed mainly from the Eastern end of platforms 8 & 9.
