ASMR Optometrist Eye Exam & Retinoscopy | Eye Measuring

Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You've come into our optometry department today to have your eyes checked since you've been noticing some blurry and distorted vision. Our optometrist will examine your eyes, both internally and externally and then using a retinoscope, will diagnose what's going on with your vision. Sorry this video is a little shorter than normal; I filmed earlier in the evening rather than at 3 am and it was so hot in my room that my camera overheated. 0:00 Intro 0:10 Doctor comes in, getting your history 3:00 Putting on gloves 3:54 Pen light swing test 5:50 Follow the light 7:27 Brightness test 9:08 How many fingers? 10:01 External eye exam; face touching 13:19 Dimming the lights, putting lens testing frames on you 14:19 Using retinoscope to diagnose your vision; lights, changing lenses 30:58 Lights return to normal, removing frames 33:03 Mapping your cornea with keratometer 36:25 Taking some measurements around your eyes 42:34 Ishihara plate testing for color deficiency 44:19 Red saturation testing Please be aware that this video is intended for entertainment, relaxation, sleep aid and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns. ______________ What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR!
