We have been using these portable washer and dryer for over a year now, and I have no major complaints so far. Before, we used to spend $12-15/week and at least 2 hours at the laundromat. We also had to carry heavy loads of dirty laundry up and down the stairs of our 3rd level apartment unit. I hated using public laundromat especially when it's busy and you have to wait in line to use the washer/dryer or folding area. Most of the time we would end up shoving everything into the hamper after drying so I'd have to iron tons of wrinkled clothes when we get home. But now, I do most of our laundry (except for heavy beddings/comforters) at the comfort of our own home. It may take much longer and more number of loads, but it works for us. Besides, I want to control the water level to make sure that clothes are washed and rinsed thoroughly. Just make sure to set a reliable alarm to prevent overflowing accident which had happened to me unfortunately. No significant change too to our electric bill. You can use any sturdy table but so far this table is holding up with no problem. just make sure you don't overload your dryer because it might result to longer drying which makes your clothes stink. Overloading will also cause water leakage and damage to your dryer. $600= approximate total of washer and dryer $960= $15x4weeksx16months So to date I've approximately saved $300 and will continue to save as long as my washer/dryer are working. Update!!! 2021 Both units are still working fine with no major issues except for the washer filter part which is a bit challenging to clean. Lints would get trapped behind the detachable filter compartment I had to use bbq stick or flexible wire to remove some accumulated lints. We still use both almost everyday especially with a new baby, we never ran out of clothes to wash. I can't find the link to these exact units but you can check out almost similar units on Amazon.
