I’m always doing different little projects and I figured maybe I’d upload this in case others would like to see. Today I was installing Herculiner in my truck. Wear PPE! Between the dust from sanding & the fumes from painting you will need it. Also it takes for ever to get off your skin. Steps I took: 1: Remove clear coat in area I was applying Herculiner (220 grit sandpaper & Brillo pad) 2. Clean the area prior to application. I used dish soap & after applied Acetone. 3. Tape off EVERYTHING that won’t be painting. 4. Apply first coat, wait till tacky before doing second. 5. Apply second coat and then once tacky remove the tape. 6.
