Chef Yankel from ButcherBox teaches you how to cook your chuck roast from FROZEN in the Instant Pot! This video teaches you the basics and can be adapted to fit any veggie or liquid mix you choose. Follow the full instructions below! 1. Turn on Instant Pot and select Saute mode. 2. Pat dry beef for a good sear. 3. Season well with salt and pepper. 4. Sear beef on all sides for approximately 3 min per side. 5. Set beef aside. Add some tomato paste and any herbs, then deglaze with liquid like red wine. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Add beef back into pot, along with more liquid, e.g. stock. 7. Set Instant Pot on pressure cook for 1 hour 30 minutes. 8. Vent and let roast rest in liquid. 9. Serve with torn herbs and crusty bread.
