Outward Definitive Edition has a slum like area. The slums of levant can be found by heading over to the desert and either entering through the back of the city or heading through a gate separating the unfortunate from the profitable sector. The area is sad, desolate, and ridden with disease. People can be seen sleeping on benches, locked up near corpses, and even living in barrels. Everyone has on tattered clothes and blood decorates the walls of this forsaken shamble of huts. Those fortunate enough for a human death usually rot in the streets near the limited food supply. A teacher can be found here who actually trains others in the art of rouge or assassin like combat. Essentially giving those with enough strength a way to survive through murder and thievery. One man however, sits above the rest. His name is Patrice or at least it used to be. He simply goes by Pigeoneye now. Most likely due to his ability to see everything that goes on in the slums and the fact that birds enjoy his company of course. Through some letters written by pigeoneye we get a little incite on what the slums are truly like. Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized due to how realistic and difficult it is.
