12 Tracks from past F1 games that are not in F1 24 (Istanbul, Valencia and more)

F1 24 has been released and it features all 24 tracks from the current F1 season, plus Algarve as a bonus track, bringing the total lineup to an impressive 25 tracks. However, there are also some tracks from previous Codemasters F1 games that are not available in the latest game, from well known locations like Sepang or Nürburgring to obscure ones like India or Korea. Here you can see clean laps with different cars on 12 different tracks from F1 2009-2023 that can not be found in F1 24, showing off some of the history of the Codemasters F1 games. Enjoy the show! Timeline: 0:00 Istanbul Park (Turkey) 1:40 Valencia Street Circuit (Spain) 3:38 Korea International Circuit (South Korea) 5:37 Sochi Autodrom (Russia) 7:37 Nürburgring (Germany) 9:22 Buddh International Circuit (India) 11:12 Sepang (Malaysia) 13:11 Hockenheimring (Germany) 14:51 Circuit Paul Ricard (France) 16:48 Hanoi Street Circuit (Vietnam) 18:41 Brands Hatch (England) - Classic Track 20:05 Jerez (Spain) - Classic Track As usual I put in a lot of effort to record the best possible laps that I could under the conditions that I wanted to use, often doing 20 or 30 laps to push my lap time as far as possible. With some of these tracks I was already very familiar from other games but there were also a few that were completely new to me, so I had to learn them from scratch. Nürburgring and Hockenheim are two well known tracks from Germany that were alternating as the venue of the German Grand Prix for a while, which is why they kept appearing and disappearing from F1 games as well. Unfortunately Germany is not part of the F1 calendar anymore though, despite it being one of the leading nations in cars and motorsport, as the German tracks just can't pay the F1 owners as much money as places like Qatar or Saudi Arabia. Hockenheim and especially Nürburgring can still be found in many other racing games though. France is another major country that has disappeared from F1. Paul Ricard was still included as a bonus track in F1 23 but it has not been kept for F1 24. Sepang in Malaysia is another well known track from past games, as it has been used as an F1 venue for many years. The track can still be found in a different recent Codemasters game with Grid Legends. Brands Hatch and Jerez are well known tracks that haven't been used in Formula One for a long time but were included as Classic Tracks in F1 2013, together with classic cars from the 80s that were racing on them. Jerez can also be found in Project Cars 3. Istanbul Park hosted the Turkish Grand Prix for a number of years and it actually returned in 2020 and 2021 in real life but didn't return to the F1 video games. It could also be found in the original Grid and in Grid Autosport. Valencia Street Circuit hosted the European Grand Prix for some time but it has since been abandoned. Sochi was home of the Russian Grand Prix for a number of years but was removed from the calendar due to the ongoing war. Korea and India both hosted F1 races for a few years during the early Codemasters F1 era. Both are obscure tracks that can not be found in many other racing games. The most obscure track from past Codemasters F1 games has got to be Hanoi Street Circuit in Vietnam though. This track never actually hosted a race in real life but it was planned as a track for the 2020 season, so it was also included in the game for that year. What are your thoughts about these past F1 tracks? Which of them are your favorites and which of them would you like to see return to the F1 calendar in the future or to some other racing game franchises? Let me know in the comments.
