Tune the manual sensitivity as high as is possible for stable operation and you will hit twice deeper then the automatic sensitivity mode. In the video you will see that manual sensitivity 16 is deep as automatic sensitivity 23. There is no logic at all but it is a fact. The E-Trac is probably the deepest induction balance metal detector, but only if you use it in manual sensitivity mode. Use it in automatic sensitivity and you have a toy. As well I can highly recommend the two-tone-ferrous audio mode instead the multi-tone-conductivity audio. The two-tone-ferous audio is much more easier for interpretation and it is your only chance in iron infested sites. For me the multi-tone-conductivity mode is a real torture for the ears and the brain.
