Native to the Philippines where its local name is Tayabak, Jade Vine is also commonly known as Turquoise Jade Vine or Emerald Vine. We first saw this plant in all its glory, vining on arbors and lath houses in the south, with outrageous turquoise blooms dangling in midair. This vigorous climber produces large chains of turquoise flowers, over a foot in length, from late spring through early summer. Rare and much sought after, Jade Vine is a unique flower that puts on a stunning display, as long as it has room to grow.
