Road To Hana - Kīpahulu to Paia vicinity, Maui

I don't expect anyone to watch all of this video! It's nearly the entire drive on the Road to Hana, or rather in this case, the road from Kīpahulu to Hana continuing on almost to Paia, Maui when the recording was stopped after sunset. Almost all the footage has been sped up 2x and 4x making it more fun and less time to watch. June 17, 2024. Highway 31 - Piilani Highway, the road from Kīpahulu toward Kanaio National Area Reserve and the Triple L Ranch, was closed a few miles south of Haleakala National Park so we had to go back to Kihei on the Road to Hana making our drive about 90 minutes longer than continuing on the Piilani Highway. The same section of Piilani Highway 31 was closed last year when we were there as well, so I'll link a video featuring some of the "back-way" drive we did in 2017.
