Making a Napoleonic Casualty Diorama I Napoleonic Grim Dark?! Why not?!

Grab your popcorn and get cozy for this walkthrough/showcase video of my most recent work! I have been watching a lot of movies lately while painting, and while watching the newest adaptation of All Quiet on the Western Front, I had the idea for making a vivid and gruesome casualty marker piece. The savaged and wet European battlefields, torn apart and muddy was the setting I wanted to replicate, with puddles of muddy, murky, bloody water. After my first one I went ahead and made a busier and more involved piece. It is simultaneously gruesome, wonderful and awful to look at it. I no way endorse or encourage violence but also wanted this to be a tribute to all of the fallen in the many violet conflicts throughout history.
