This video shows the do it yourself (DIY) replacement of wheels for a recycling trash can. This video addresses home improvement and practical ways to solve for damages that may occur around the house. Sustainability is about energy efficiency and renewable power, but it also about keeping trash out of landfills. Recycling is a key spoke on the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. A fourth “R” should probably be Repair, because too often people throw away products that are damaged rather than fixing them. The fix keeps them out of the landfills. In this case the repair served to keep the recycling trash can out of the landfill, and it also serves to create a workable vessel for recycling bottles and glass.
