On Friday April 26th, 2024, Brad Bell and the cast and crew of The Bold and the Beautiful took time out before filming to celebrate their 12 Daytime Emmy Nominations for the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Here is the complete list of nominees: Outstanding Drama Series: Bradley P. Bell, Executive Producer; Edward Scott and Casey Kasprzyk, Supervising Producers; Cynthia J. Popp, Producer; Nayeli Gomez, Line Producer; and Rachel Herman, Producer. This marks the 18th nomination for B&B in this category, with three previous wins in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Outstanding Drama Series Writing: Bradley P. Bell, Head Writer; Michael Minnis, Co-Head Writer; Rex M. Best, Shannon B. Bradley, Adam Dusevoir, Tracey Ann Kelly, Mark Pinciotti, Lawrence Saint-Victor and Michele Val Jean, Writers. This marks the 19th nomination for Bradley P. Bell and the B&B writing team have had five previous wins In this category in 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2020. Outstanding Drama Series Directing: Cynthia J. Popp, Anthony Pascarelli, and Jennifer Howard, Directors; Cathy Sedwick, Jennifer Scott Christenson, Brian Connell, Mark Beruti and Erica Ginger Britton, Assistant Directors; Robin Harvey Adams and Cherie Wall, Production Associates; Lisa Winther-Houston, Herbert Weaver, and Jason Galland, Stage Managers. This marks the 17th nomination for B&B in this category, with three previous wins in 2011, 2013, and 2015. Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Katherine Kelly Lang as “Brooke Logan.” This marks Lang’s sixth Daytime Emmy Award nomination. She was previously nominated in 2013 for Supporting Actress and in 2014 and 2020 for Lead Actress for her role in THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. She was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2002 in the special category “America’s Favorite Couple.” Lang received a Daytime Emmy for her work on the digital drama VENICE The Series producing team in 2014. Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Annika Noelle as “Hope Logan.” This marks Noelle’s second nomination. Her first was in 2020 in the category of Supporting Actress. Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series: Scott Clifton as “Liam Spencer.” This marks Clifton’s tenth Daytime Emmy nomination across three different daytime dramas. He previously won the Younger Actor category in 2011, Supporting Actor in 2013, and Lead Actor in 2017. All three of Clifton’s wins were for his work on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series: John McCook as “Eric Forrester.” This marks McCook’s fifth Daytime Emmy nomination, all for THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. McCook was the recipient of this award in this category in 2022. Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series: Thorsten Kaye as “Ridge Forrester.” This marks Kaye’s eighth nomination in this category and his fourth for the role of “Ridge” on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Kaye received the Lead Actor Daytime Emmy in 2023. Kaye is the only performer to be Emmy® nominated in the “Lead Actor” category on three different daytime dramas. Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series: Jennifer Gareis as “Donna Logan” This marks Gareis’ first nomination for a Daytime Emmy® award. Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series: Ashley Jones as “Dr. Bridget Forrester.” This is Jones’ fourth nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award. She was nominated in 1999 and 2000 in the category of Younger Actress (for Y&R), and in 2005 in the special category, “Irresistible Combination” for B&B. Outstanding Technical Direction/Electronic Camera/Video Control for a Drama or Daytime Fiction Program: Gary Chamberlin, Technical Director; John Carlson, Nicholas Svoboda, Nick Krotov, and Joseph Stephenson, Camera Operators; Keven Scotti, Video Operator; Jack Kidd, Jr., Michael Hardiman, and Peter Mallard, Electronic Camera; George Forbes, Video Control. This is the 20th nomination in this category, with nine previous wins in 1988, 1989, 1996, 2003, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019. Outstanding Costume Design/Styling for a Drama or Daytime Fiction Program: Jeresa Featherstone, Costume Designer; Anabel Shuckhart, Wardrobe Supervisor; Gail Mosley, Jennifer Johns, Patrice Johnson, Lucy Flores, Ross Fuentes, and Angelo Santos, Costume Stylists. This marks the 24th nomination in this category, with 12 previous wins in 1991, 1992, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2023. Featherstone received her first win in this category in 2023. Currently in its 37th season, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is the most-watched U.S.-produced daytime drama worldwide.
