CARS OF THE 1980S in the UK | Vol.2

More classic cars of the 1980s! In this second compilation featuring cars built and/or of a type available in the 1980s, I've dug out 210 photos of basic cars, sportscars, luxury cars and estates. Most were available new here in the UK although I've also included a few unusual cars that owners have shipped to the UK from overseas. How many of these cars do you have experience of? Maybe you drove some of the cars shown here? Some of them are over 40 years of age now, and represent rare reminders of how the motoring landscape here in the UK looked back then, and how different it was to now. British cars, ie those built here by British owned companies, were still commonplace. Economy models such as the Austin MiniMetro and Ford Fiesta, mid-range saloons such as the Ford Granada and Vauxhall Cavalier, and more plushly-appointed offerings such as the Jaguar XJ6 and Datsun Laurel will all be found here, as well as oddballs such as the Aston Martin Zagato, the Panther Solo, and the Rolls-Royce Camargue. Some models featured, like the latter, came along in the 1970s but continued in production in the '80s. I'll include a link to Volume 1 of cars of the 1980s at the end of this one, where you'll find a further selection of now classic cars from that decade.
