The Lakers would fall behind big in the first half, similar to game 1. Also similar to game 1, the home team would make a comeback and it would be lead by Kobe Bryant. Following an 11 point first half, Kobe went into attack mode in the third quarter, scoring 11 points and igniting a Laker run that had them up 64-63 after three. The MVP took it a step further in the 4th quarter, erupting for 17 more points to further separate the Lakers from San Antonio to eventually win by a 100-92 score.
