"Amra Je Ek Bangla Bhashay" - A song penned and composed by Maahirii Bose which talks about the similarities of nature, emotions and mainly the mother language of West Bengal (India) and East Bengal (Bangladesh), which have been forcefully separated by a man-made geographical boundary. The song talks about the feelings of unity that still exist in the spirits of the two countries in spite of the forced geographical border. This is the first time ever that popular singers from the two countries which previously used to be one, are uniting for a single song of unity and commonality between them. This project is a maiden initiative by Rohen-Maahirii Classical Fusion Band. It will be released this year on the International Mother Language Day, 21st February. ABC Radio 89.2 FM (Bangladesh) and 91.9 Friends FM (India) will broadcast the song and also release it online together at the same time on the 21st, which again is happening for the first time where 2 prominent radio channels of two countires are releasing the same song simultaneously. The singers from India are Subhamita Banerjee, Jayati Chakraborty, Iman Chakraborty, Malabika Sen, Sampa Kundu, Srikanta Acharya, Manomoy Bhattacharya, Soumya Bose, Rohen Bose and Maahirii Bose, the composer herself. The singers from Bangladesh are Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, Bappa Mazumder, Abanti Sinthi, Prithwi Raj, Priyanka Gope, Gazi Sharmeen Ahmed, Shawjeeb Alam Tanvir and Ritu Raj. এই প্রথমবার পূর্ব এবং পশ্চিম, দুই বাংলার ১৮ জন শিল্পীরা একই সময়, একই সাথে, একই মাটির টানে একত্রিত হয়েছেন - "আমরা যে এক বাংলা ভাষায়" এই গানটিতে। যেই গান দুই বাংলার মৈত্রীর কথা বলে, দুই বাংলার এক হবার কথা বলে কারণ আমাদের মাতৃভাষা এক, আমাদের প্রকৃতি এক, আমাদের চিন্তা ভাবনা এক, আমাদের হাসি-কান্না-অনুভূতি সব এক। জোর করে মাটিতে দাগ কেটে ভিন্ন হয়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করলেও আসলে আমরা এক। এই গানটি ডঃ মাহিরী বোসের লেখা ও সুর করা। মাহিরী-রোহেন ক্লাসিকাল ফিউশন ব্যান্ডের উদ্যোগে এই গানটি মুক্তি পেতে চলেছে ইউটিউব এবং ফেসবুকে আগামী ২১শে ফেব্রুয়ারি, আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবসে। এই প্রথম দুই বাংলার দুই রেডিও স্টেশন একই দিনে, একই সাথে এবং একই সময় এই একটি গানের মুক্তি ঘোষণা করবে তাদের এফ.এম চ্যানেলে। ভারতের ৯১.৯ ফ্রেন্ডস এফ.এম এবং বাংলাদেশের ৮৯.২ এবিসি রেডিও। পশ্চিম বাংলার যেই শিল্পীরা এই কাজে সামিল হয়েছেন তারা হলেন : শ্রীকান্ত আচার্য শুভমিতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ইমন চক্রবর্তী জয়তী চক্রবর্তী মনোময় ভট্টাচার্য শম্পা কুন্ডু সৌম্য বসু রোহেন বোস মাহিরী বোস মালবিকা সেন পূর্ব বাংলার যেই শিল্পীরা এই কাজে সামিল হয়েছেন তারা হলেন : রেজয়ানা চৌধুরী বন্যা বাপ্পা মজুমদার অবন্তী সিঁথি আর.জে শারমিন প্রিয়াঙ্কা গোপ তানভীর আলম সজীব পৃথ্বীরাজ ঋতুরাজ Digital Partner: Bengal Web Solution Contact - 9903360341
