Midi files (recording and generate from sheet): https://mathieumichels.gumroad.com/l/... _______________________________ This video was originally scheduled for February 24... I didn't know how to release it at the time because I hurt myself so much with those appogiaturas from hell on my right hand... I also hurt my left hand with the tremolos... Anyway, a pretty dangerous piece😆. But finally, it's good, I finally got to turn it around and especially redo a better version than the one released almost two years ago (time is flying) 🤯 Oh yeah, and when you see the piano get smaller/crazier, it really goes down several inches, I was going really hard for the forte, but it feels bad after going through the steamroller that is vst and midi file bullshit... ________________________________ As you can see in the top left corner, I have added a note/second counter and a total note counter. I had seen this before on various videos, but never on how to create them. So I decided to create my own. Having some basic knowledge of python, I tried to connect python to Adobe Premiere pro, my editing software... And... it almost worked, using the "Pymiere" package, I was able to edit my timeline with python and create texts, but I was lazy to read the documentation and it worked poorly in the end. So I decided to generate the video entirely in python. It works globally well, the counts are correct, the rendering time is about 120% the time of the video, it's slow but quite bearable. On the other hand, as you may have noticed, the counter only updates once a second. This explains why it shows 11 notes per second at the beginning when only the first two are pressed. It simply counts all the notes present between the third and fourth seconds of the video. My goal would be to be able to update this counter every time a note is pressed and have an "instantaneous average" speed (lol). If you're interested, the program, still in full beta, is available with much more information on my Github: https://github.com/mathieumichels/Music _______________________________ Technical informations: Piano: Thomann SP-5600 Camera: Lumix DMC-FZ2000 Sound: Garritan CFX Concert Grand (Reaper) via MIDI file. MIDI recording and editing: Reaper Visual effects: SeeMusic Notes counter (beta): https://github.com/mathieumichels/Music Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 _______________________________ Edit: I just noticed that I re-launched this channel two years and 6 days ago. Maybe I'll do something special for the three years who knows
