Sorry for the quality, forgot to turn on high resolution in OBS... TL:DR about physical PD in season 4: Nerf of passive hurts us a lot and rebalancing of items doesn't give us any significant advantage other another classes. We're still one of the best Wormhole pushers, but that's it - our single target damage is at best mediocre, clear become better than in previous season, but still not good enough. Physical PD needs a lot of investment to at least consistently farm hell 5 and even more to do uber bosses, especially Damien. In the endgame potentially becomes one of the strongest classes with absolute best items (Tayrel chest etc.), but you can clear Wormhole lvl 100 without these items. BiS Gear: 1.Gloves: Rimskin Assassins; 2. Rings: Azazel's Despair x2 with Anubis gems; 3. Belt (in terms of damage): Gladiator King's Belt; 4. Chest: Tayrel's Chestplate; 5. Charms: +3 all skills with crit damage and/or life% roll; 6. Weapon Augment: Lethal Tempo. Also Impetus or Divine Piercing are viable for farming, not so good for bossing tho; Other stuff is shown in the end of the video. Problem with physical PD this season: Our passive got nerfed hard (by 25%) and items which makes us really strong are locked behind one of the most rare heroic belt and most rare angelic chest piece, which is hunted by everyone. With how Vanaheim works it is very hard to obtain this belt (either it is a random drop from Luna, or random quest reward, but after 15+ Vanaheims i haven't seen any) and almost impossible to obtain Tayrel's Chest. Before these two items PD needs abnormal investments to do what some other classes can do without almost any investments at all. We always lack clear speed as our knifes don't have as great AOE potential as other classes which are great in farm do, at least in standart range critical damage or melee attack speed builds, and we lack single target damage. Our boss-killer capabilities only allows us facetank almost everything thrown at us, but only with a very good items as was demonstrated in the vid. Positive moments: 1. Base knifes speed and range were increased as if we are wearing Demonfire Accelerators with projectile speed level 3. It is good as it allows us to pick some other good DPS options in gloves slot; 2. Reworking of charm system allows us to find crazy good charms and potentially boost our critical damage higher than 550% with overloaded glyph level 3; 3. Reworking of some gear pieces and affixes allows us to be more flexible with gears, we don't need to stack HP only anymore and more viable build variants are present in current season than in previous. Some questions answered: Q: Scarred Battle Darts or newly added Sidewinder? A: Decently rolled Sidewinder with good baisc attack and enhanced damage is better, but Darts are much more accessible. My tests showed that even with two empowered sockets Sidewinder with mid rolls dealt almost same damage as Battle Darts. Q: Why do you use Coffeinated Coffee Container and molten paw buff instead of Will of Thanos + Eye of rakhul and Combat orders buff? A: Right now Rakhul is bugged and even with completed quest you can't get any loot from him, so you can't get Combat Orders level 15+. This combo with Fire Enchant buff gives you extra damage to burning target, which is added in the end of damage formula and works like extra damage for bleeding targets, which is huge. Im still not sure if Combat Orders level 15+ would be better than this combo, if PAS will repair Rakhul, ill test it out and will update on this in future. Q: Why have you put Gladiator's Belt on the top of Komodos Bloodstrap in terms of damage? A: Because I was testing DPS with Belt of Skulls (which is basically the lesser version of Gladiator's Belt) against Komodo and it was almost the same, probably bacause of passive nerf and "Extra damage to bleeding targets" modifier being too strong. You still win in surviveability tho, and this will be further tested when Rakhul boss will get fixed. Q: What is the main source of power for physical Plague Doctor this season? A: Probably crit damage and new rare/mythic charms which can now roll + to all skills and additional DPS stats, so Overloaded glyph level 6 is top priority, for other stuff refer to Porpor's PD guide, it was updated for this season and contains a lot of useful info and build variations: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
