The question is put forward by Ashok Dhar from Delhi. Swami Mukundananda while replying says, "seva is a expression of love. All that we have is coming from God. So when we give to Him, that becomes an expression of our love." Giving is seva and it is the dharma of the soul. If we do not accept that dhrama of seva to God, we would still be forced to serve. But in this case, we will be serving Maya. Seva are of various kinds. There is Tamasic seva, Rajasic seva and Satvik seva. Highest of all the seva is the one done for the pleasure of God. But, how do we know what will please God?
