🚨 PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL AND LIKE THE VIDEO 🚨 ⚠️ DETAILS 👇🏼 Around 5:30 Monday, Allentown transmitted box 2119 for 25 S. 12th Street for a house fire. Sending Engines 9, 10, 14, 6 (F.A.S.T.), Truck 2 and Battalion 43. Additional calls reporting 1140 Hamilton Street for a building. Battalion 43 called it a working fire while responding as companies were reporting a huge column of smoke from a distance. Truck 2 arrived and reported heavy fire in the rear of 1138 Hamilton. Fire already involving the exposure on the east (side 2) 1136 Hamilton Street. Battalion 43 transmitted the 2nd and 3rd alarms. 2nd alarm companies are Engine 11, 13, Truck 1 and Air 1. Third alarm consisted of Engine 4. The battalion also requested Lehigh County Engines 11, 37 and 3. Power lines in the rear came down and hindered some of the firefighting operations and needed utilities (PPL) to respond immediately. As the fire extended vertically, it eventually made it to the cockloft and extended horizontally to the west (Side 4) exposures. The fire burned out of control for 4 hours. By 10:00PM the firefighters finally had the fire darkened down and under control. The volunteer mutual-aid companies back-filled the city stations to cover fires while the city was operating at the building fire. #buildingfire #structurefire #news
