Hello everybody! I finally decided to sit down and pay tribute to the most important band to me. Franz Ferdinand was the band that made me start to nourish a passion for music and made me the musician that i am today. Some of the songs I had already learned in my teenage years. I remember not having a bass yet, but was already trying to understand what the bass did at Take me Out, and the day I managed to get a bass, it was the first song I tried to play. After a few years, here I am showing you what I've been up to in the last week! re-learn the songs of my number one band, with the exception of the most recent ones that I had to learn in the meantime. It gave me huge pleasure to play this and remind myself that sometimes what seems easy becames hard, hence the bass lines created by Alex Kapranos and Bob Hardy stand out for their simplicity and creativity that make listeners dance. I decided to make this video from the album "Hits To The Head" because it was the album released in 2022 that brings together the "hits" from each previously released album (from 2004 to 2018) with two extra new songs. So this video makes a good summary of their wonderful songs. I recorded this video calmly on 6 different days, as you can see by my outfit (lol). A different day for each album. I hope you like and enjoy the songs and bass lines that have accompanied me since I was 13 until today. I tried my best to stay glued to the original bass and add some parts to the approach that the great Bob Hardy uses live. I hope you enjoy these, thank you so much. EDIT: I put a whole video playing the whole album but youtube didn't allow it. So I tried to create this playlist with the separate songs.
