Our Stay at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa | Full Resort Tour & Review | Oceanfront Hotel| Huntington Beach, California Hello everyone! Cheers to another travel episode of The Sanchez Official. This time we are taking you with us to one of the beautiful oceanfront hotels in Southern California.   Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa is a family-friendly hotel that features multiple pools, restaurants, amenities, and activities aimed at kids, and more. The Mediterranean design of this sprawling resort incorporates arched courtyards, beautifully tiled fountains, and fire pits.  Set on the beach, this resort is a mile from the Pier, 20 miles from Disneyland and 13 miles from Orange County.   The Spanish-inspired architecture of the hotel is stunning, and that plus the beach views and its indoor-outdoor design gives you a California vibe.   Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort’s grounds are lush and beautiful, and the space is nicely broken up by the resort buildings, various courtyards, fire pits, fountains, and landscaping. If you are looking for a resort which caters to families with a wide range of amenities and activities, this is the resort you should consider.   Let’s now head over to our room.  Come with me to check it out.  The guest rooms of this resort are equipped with a 65″ smart television, coffeemaker, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, laptop-sized room safe, and bottled water.   The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach offers luxury, comfort, and family-friendly charm. The resort has a spa called Pacific Water which offers excellent wellness facilities including a sauna, steam room and whirlpool.   Right outside of the Spa is the koi pond.  If you have young children, don’t miss the daily fish feeding outside the Pacific Water Spa at 12 noon. Abby enjoyed feeding the fish and we were also delighted with this complimentary experience.   The grounds of this resort are well-kept and there are many seating areas to enjoy, fountains to view and fire pits to relax at. This resort has an adults-only spa area, a gigantic lagoon-style swimming pool and a water playground for children.  All the pools are heated which is perfect because the weather this weekend is a bit chilly.   Mankota’s pool is top-notch. It’s large and expansive, but curves around in such a way that it doesn’t feel like it’s too open and crowded. The seating area here is also great, with the space broken up nicely. It feels so peaceful and has a good summer vibe.   Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach is home to a half-dozen restaurants, with the most notable being Water table and they serve breakfast to their guests. This is the main restaurant here at the resort, so we decided to give their buffet breakfast a try.   We enjoyed the breakfast buffet so much that we forgot to take a video of ourselves eating but at least you guys get to see the buffet spread and wide variety of food selections.   The location is such a huge selling point for the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. The main reason….it is just a short walk from the beach. The foot bridge or a private pedestrian connects the resort to Huntington City Beach. At the end of the bridge, you can pick up towels, chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys. These are all complimentary with your stay. It is so convenient!  You can also walk from the hotel to Huntington Pier and many cute shops and restaurants.   In addition to being right across from the beach, Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach is less than a 5-minute walk to Pacific City and it’s less than a mile to Huntington Beach Pier.   With its prime beachfront location and extensive amenities, it’s no wonder why this beachfront Southern California hotel is a favorite for family getaways. The only downside is the resort fee and parking. We find it expensive but, you have the option for self-parking across the street. Our time at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach was so much fun!
