Mets Win Series/ Giants on way to Superbowl

October 27, 1986. While the Mets were beating the Red Sox in Flushing, Queens, in East Rutherford NJ, the Giants were thumping the Redskins on their way to victory in Super Bowl XX!. For a New York sports fan, this was a night to remember. I borrowed a Sony Walkman (remember those?) so I could listen to the Mets while shooting the Giants from the sideline. Scott Kremer was my sound tech that night and NJN Sports Director, Pat Scanlon, put the story together. Joe Martin was the editor. We won a Philadelphia local emmy for this feature.
