Filmed on 18/01/2022. Well, it is time to kick off the year which looks like for the better after a difficult 22 months for the world. And, after previously filmed mostly the evening rush hour trainspotting sessions for the first time, we film the morning rush at Leeds (Season 9 Episode 1) A few changes of services relating to Northern on the Harrogate Line which has seen its biggest improvement. Northern has decided to extend the trains which left Leeds at **:59 every hour would run as far as Knaresborough but it now runs through to York making trains every 30 minutes to York via Harrogate. LNER has introduced a 2 hourly service linking Bradford Forster Square through to London Kings Cross via Leeds and also maintaining the 2 hourly service to Harrogate. Transpennine Express is running a temporary reduced timetable due to the situation with the 'C' which has effected most of their network. This results in the return of Scarborough to York shuttle services as one example and reduced frequency on some routes like the West Coast Route and South Pennies Route.
