Since then, her musical career has taken off, releasing four studio albums and becoming a 6x platinum artist. Her career has been varied, too, with numerous TV and film appearances, as well as working as a coach on the UK version of The Voice. After several years releasing records, she has changed her style slightly for her most recent record, declaring “I was adamant that I wouldn’t write about love.” She describes The Architect as a ‘social observation record’ and became her first chart-topping album, selling over 40,000 copies. The 2015 winner of the Brit award for best female solo artist, she is currently on a world tour to promote her most recent album.
