THIS ISN'T EVEN DEBATABLE. HOW THE HELL DO YOU DEBATE SOMETHING THAT IS TECHNICALLY "CANON" FOR THESE CHARACTERS? OH, WAIT, NOTHING IS "CANON" FOR THESE CHARACTERS BECAUSE THEY ARE VOCALOIDS. WOW, WHAT A SHOCKING THING TO SAY. EDIT A-FUCKING-GAIN: All right a lot of you don't seem to understand what is going on here. With Vocaloids, the "author" of the song/pv can DECIDE what kind of relationship Len and Rin have with each other. Nothing is canon, they are not canonly twins, they are not canonly not-twins, okay? Some songs have them as siblings, some songs do not have them as siblings, okay? This is all perfectly okay and totally normal for all Len and Rin songs, no for ALL VOCALOID SONGS. In this specific song, all of the hints point towards Rin and Len being siblings/twins or at least related (maybe cousins). They "know" they aren't supposed to be together, the other classmates "know" they shouldn't be together, because guess what? Incest is taboo in a whole heck of a lot of cultures, including ours. It's seen as wrong and that's why they know they shouldn't be together and why Len forces himself to separate himself from Rin. By the end they're just like, "you know what, fuck it" literally. They don't care anymore what anyone thinks because they are in love with each other. This song doesn't make a lot of sense if we take out the "forbidden" part of incest. If you don't like incest, you can distance them a bit further as cousins, where sometimes it is acceptable to marry your cousin (though more like second cousin and not first). I personally see them as being twins in this one, that grew up very close and ended up falling in love. Sure, you can dispute this, but really, I have watched this video a lot, I've subtitled it twice, I promise you I know where I'm coming from. Really the most telling facts are what the other students said. If Len and Rin weren't twins/siblings/cousins why would they care if they were too close? Why would it be risky? If they were just friends and not related in anyway that wouldn't make any sense. There wouldn't be anything suspicious about friends being close and flirting with each other and falling in love, unlike if they were related. I like the twins/siblings better than cousins because I think it really adds more risk to the situation and since they look so alike anyway. So there are my thoughts, there is the "proof" I'm taking from the video. And this is the last time I'm explaining this. A third EDIT: Yep it's true you guys lost your commenting privileges.
