Hey guys, in this video I will describe how I lifted my e46 318ti compact by 12 cm. Before filming this video I already lifted the car by 2cm using springs from 6 cylinder e46 and by another 5cm using bigger tyres. The tyres were scrubing so I want to lift the car by additional 5cm. Offroad tyre size: 205/75/15, which is +2,5cm on radius compared to stock 195/65/15, my tyres also had rethreading which added another 2,5cm, so 5cm in total on radius. Front: Custom designed 5cm spacers with camber / castor compensation Rear: Using VW Sharan springs (Probably first gen, I bough them at scrapyard) At the rear you can also use spacers from a lift kit which you can easily find and buy on the internet. But I wanted to have maximum wheel travel for bigger traction. I also wanted to buy 3-7 cm longer dampers so the wheels can go more into rebound, but so far I didn't find which ones will fit. +3cm would be safe limit for the half-shafts and +7cm would be limit for chassis parts interference.
