DIY Tech Tip: How to Install Thin-X LIN Strobe Light in Truck Badges

This video shows a demonstration about how to remove your truck badge, install the Thin-X LIN Series light, and display the badge lighting effect that we use in many of our builds. The tools that we use for this installation include: - Plastic pry bars - Long pick set - Drill with a unibit and a long extension - Thin-X LIN Series LED First, we use the plastic pry bars to begin pulling the badge. We use the pick set to help release the metal clips that hold the badge in place on the truck. Once you have your badge removed, you will drill a hole in the middle for the Thin-X wires. You can mount the light using the included screws. We like to add a small piece of plastic for additional reinforcement where the screws come through on the back of the badge. Once the Thin-X is attached to the badge, you will need to run your wires, and re-attach your badge to the truck.
