The main differentiation is that neonatal CPR is primarily airway breathing and circulation focused. Child and infant CPR instead focuses on compressions first. Neonates are so driven from a lack of oxygen that it is the primary concern that they get the oxygen they need. 3 compressions to 1 respiration is recommended for a neonatal patient.
