Flying through mild turbulence feels like driving a car over big bumps or holes in the road. But passengers on a Singapore Airlines flight on Tuesday experienced severe turbulence. Several people were injured and one person, a 73-year-old British man, died. Then, Bryan Lynn has a story about artificial intelligence on the Technology Report. Major AI developers and top government officials have agreed on measures aiming to ensure that AI systems are safely built and deployed. Officials from 16 different technology companies signed an agreement promising to develop AI technology in ways that limit harm to the public. After that, Ashley and Bryan discuss in greater detail the possible problems with AI that officials are concerned about. These include deep fakes and misinformation. Next Ashley has a promotional message for Let's Learn English with Anna from VOA Learning English. Finally, Jill Robbins and Andrew Smith teach all about possessive pronouns and adjectives using an episode of Let's Learn English. In the episode, Anna asks "Is this bag yours?"
