Yes, I have cracked and become a Fourth Wing girlie. And it’s 6 am on November 7, 2023 (aka Iron Flame release day) as I write out this description. I preordered my copy, and it was delayed until Monday, so I’ll be spending my day hunting through every target until I find one. Which is why I am up at 6 am. I really can’t believe so many people managed to find it early in stores, and that I’ve avoided spoilers this long. Trying to avoid them until Monday? That feels like an impossible feat. I really did enjoy Fourth Wing. I feel as though it’s been a while since I read a high fantasy and really got to immerse myself in a fictional world, so this felt like a nice warm hug. I also loved that I got to share reading it with my sister! It made the book all the more special, and I loved being able to share a book from my favorite genre with her.
