廣瀬さんが亡くなられてひと月が経ちました。 今回は2015年に製作された「Tさんオーダーのランドナー」を中心に、自らを「フレームビルダー」では無く「自転車ビルダー」と称していた廣瀬さんとは、はたしてどういう職人だったのか…。改めて私なりに振り返ってみました。 なお、私は、ほぼ他のビルダーさんを存じ上げません。ですから、今回の内容も所謂ビルダーの一般論では無く、あくまでも廣瀬さんという一人のビルダーに関する私見です。 また、オーダーに際し、廣瀬さんは常に注文主と一対一、「二人だけの関係」を大切にされていました。相手を見て、相手の常識に合わせ、使う言葉や引用する例を変え、廣瀬さんなりに「工作の理由や意味」を伝えようと努めていました。 ですから、私とは異なる見識、見解、逸話を持たれる方もいらっしゃることでしょう。 是非、ご自身のメディアやSNS等で独自の廣瀬さん像を開陳され、リンク等で共有頂ければと存じます。 A month has passed since Mr. Hirose passed away.
