Karnov's Revenge [Arcade] - play as the Ox

This is a playthrough using the Ox in the Arcade version of Karnov's Revenge / Fighter's History Dynamite. Read on below for more information... The Ox is a secret boss opponent whom you can fight against in a single-player game, providing that you reach the end (including beating Karnov) without losing a round with the Difficulty Level set on 4 or above. He is an unplayable character. ===== ABOUT THE OX ===== ---- The only "Special Move" he has is a Bull Charge, done by pressing Down + HK. ---- On the character select screen, when he is highlighted he uses Ray's defeated portrait image. ---- On the character select screen, his "slot" is at the top-left of the screen. ---- He does not have a name text under his lifebar. (but when you fight the CPU Ox at the end of the game he actually does have the name text) ---- When you win a round with him, his name text that appears, is glitched. ---- The game's announcer calls him "Big Tornado", which is the name of and what Ray says for his special move. ---- If Ox loses a match, the game will reset when it goes into the Winner & Loser screen. This is because Ox does not have a "lose portrait image" nor any dialogues programmed in. ---- Interestingly, when you beat the game with him you'll get a glitched credits screen. The background is blank white, the text is in the "wrong" places (too low on the screen) and there is no music. Eventually, it will crash and reset the game. You can see this starting around 19:28 in the video. ---- In the game's character select/versus and winner/loser screens, the outline of the top of Ox's head is on the background. ---- If you're good enough to get to fight CPU Ox at the end of the game, it is only a 1-round match. And you'll only get one chance to fight him. ===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / TRIVIA ===== ---- He is a reference to the ox that appears in the Data East game, Karate Champ. ---- He makes a cameo appearance in the SNES version of the game (Fighter's History: Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu!!), in Mizoguchi mode's ending. ---- He makes an appearance in Garou Densetsu vs. Fighter's History Dynamite, which is a cell-phone game (possibly a scrolling beat-em-up with RPG/slot elements) released only in Japan.
