On our final day in the Peak District and with a drive back to London ahead of us, we decided to go on an easier walk - the Ashford in the Water to Monsal Head Circular walk to be exact. The walk would take in famers fields, interesting information about conservation work around newts, we'd get pushed out at the Monsal Dale and after taking a slight detour, we'd walk across the Monsal Viaduct and have a quick peek into the Headstone Tunnel which helps to make up the Monsal Trail - open to walkers, cyclists and horse riders alike. If you're looking for an easy Peak District walk, or a Monsal Dale walk, then I would highly recommend this one. It has a few show stopping moments, particularly getting to see the 'peak district viaduct'.
