In the general sustainable fashion community, you often here that natural fibers are infinitely better for garment making than synthetics like polyester and acrylic. While I also agree that natural fiber textiles tend to make higher quality garments that are much more enjoyable to wear, I wanted to have a more in depth conversation about why that is. Sadly, natural fibers are not perfect.
