To commemorate Coronation Street's 30th anniversary In 1990, ten VHS tapes were released. Each video featured four episodes from a specific year and was introduced by a character who was heavily featured in the stories of that year. The 1964 video was introduced by Eileen Derbyshire (Emily Bishop). This is quite notable as Eileen very rarely appears as herself in interviews or in any other media.
