Know how to make Coconut Burfi or Kobbari Mithai of perfect texture. Perfect measurements with lots of tips provided. Narrated in Kannada with English subtitles. Instant Kobri Mithai/Coconut Burfi:    • 15 ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬರಿ ಮಿಠಾಯಿ | Kobbar...   Ingredients: Grated Fresh Coconut - 5 Cups (I used only a white portion) Sugar - 3 Cups Water - 1 & 1/2 Cups Ghee - 2 Tbsp Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp Method: 1. Spread the Ghee/Clarified Butter all over the tray and keep it ready. 2. Grate Coconut and measure 5 Cups. Grind this grated Coconut lightly once. Use the whip button to grind the grated Coconut to a coarse texture. Keep it aside. 3. Add 3 Cups of Sugar to a Kadai. Add 1 & 1/2 Cups of water. 4. Sugar has to dissolve and it has to boil. You need to make a one-string consistency. To get one string consistency, it takes at least 15-20 minutes. 5. After you see the bubbles, try to check if the Sugar Syrup has reached one-string consistency. Try to check often, at least 2-3 times, whether the syrup reached one-string consistency or not. 6. Once you achieve the one-string consistency add the grated Coconut. Mix well and allow the mixture to boil. 7. Add 1 tsp Cardamom Powder and mix well. This mixture will start to boil and slowly thicken. 8. At this stage, add 2 Tbsp of Ghee/Clarified Butter and mix well. While mixing, the mixture will turn thick, and its color will change to white. 9. If you scrape the sides of the Kadai, you will notice that the Sugar has started to thicken. Once you reach this stage, switch off the flame and transfer immediately to the ghee-smeared tray. The mixture should be slightly watery. 10. Spread the mixture evenly with the help of Ghee greased ladle. Leave the mixture for half an hour till it turns warm. Then cut them into the desired shape. Cutting the Burfi will be difficult if the mixture is cooled completely. 11. Cool them completely and store them in an airtight container and one can use up to a week outside without refrigeration.
