Thank you for watching! Be sure to like & subscribe for more videos. 💕 For today’s Summer sewing project we are creating my artistic take on Betty Draper’s bow dress from Mad Men. It’s like if Betty Draper dressed for Team USA for the Olympics or for a 4th of July picnic. I used three sewing patterns to make one dress. Two vintage sewing patterns and the bow from Gertie Charm Pattern book the “Madeleine Dress”. This project was a “scrap buster” and took a lot more hard work than I imagined. I had to wing so much of it. But I’m proud that I was able to actually complete this project with so little available to me and I hope it inspires someone to continue believing in the power of their dreams!
