The INSANE Prime of John Smoltz

John Smoltz was a dominant starting and closing pitcher in his 21 year career. He was part of a historic Hall of Fame trio on the Braves that also included Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine. Smoltz had a nasty repertoire, including a blistering fastball and several devastating secondary pitches. He also excelled when it mattered most, as evidenced by a stellar postseason track record. According to draft ranking, he was one of the least likely to reach Cooperstown. After baseball, Smoltz started what has become a very successful second career as a broadcaster. Off the field, he has stayed active in the Atlanta community even after retiring.    John’s charity golf tournament: https://www.choa.org/donors-and-volun...
