This time around we've got Tite Kubo, the much-requested artist of Bleach, long-time Marvel and DC artist Arthur Adams, Sean Cheeks Galloway the king of dynamic, simple-style art, Masashi Kishimoto the Mangaka behind Naruto, Tim Sale who is most famous for Batman the Long Halloween and Spider-man Blue, and finally Land of the Lustrous creator Haruko Ichikawa. I cover a wider range of topics in this Illustrator Reacts to Requested Comic Artists episode. I still do a bit of composition talk, but I also talk about dynamic uses of perspective, including some really cool use of 5 Point Perspective in the Naruto manga. I talk the importance of fundamental art skills in anatomy and proportion by comparing drastically different but equally awesome art by Arthur Adams and Sean Galloway. And wit the transformation of the art in Bleach I talk about how burnout in art can seriously negatively affect any artists work.
