While the warriors fought in Outworld, during the events of Mortal Kombat II, Emperor Shao Kahn puts into practice its last alternative to conquer the Earth at any price: resurrect Queen Sindel who committed suicide. Knowing that the earth was unprotected and that Raiden could not interfere because it rose to the status of Elder God, Kahn gives orders to the troops to invade Earth extermination killing thousands of people.
