Why Raj Couldn't Get a Girl | Orientalism and Emasculation in The Big Bang Theory

Raj’s ending on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory was very divisive in that unlike the rest of his male co-stars, he didn’t end up with a female partner. Some say this was because Raj needed to learn that he didn’t need someone to complete him, but in my opinion that’s BS. None of the other characters needed to learn that lesson, and in fact, Raj was the character who wanted a girlfriend the most, and honestly, deserved one the most out in that he seemed to at least try to treat women with some respect.
