‪@Aviaclubnepal‬ This is the document of my daughter's one hour flight over Pokhara in ultralight aircraft in Avia Club Nepal, one of the pioneer in air sports activities in Nepal. It was a breathtaking experience according to her. The flight costs 20,000 INR for one hour. The flight took her over the city and through picturesque valleys that lead up to Pokhara. Once there, she saw that how close Mt FishTail (Machhapuchre) is! She also got an amazing view of the Annapurna mountain range with its three highest peaks -Dhaulagiri, Manaslu & Mansarovar. This trip gives guests access not only rare opportunities but experiences like no other because they are able to see these incredible sites from altitude without having to deal with serious hiking or climbing. An ultralight also called a microlight is a two-seater aircraft with a motor. The fleet can carry two people at once, the pilot and passenger, and has a capacity of 600 kg including persons on board and fuel (90 litres maximum). With an average speed of 80 km per hour, it can fly up to 130 kilometres per hour. It can fly for hours and ascend the altitude of 5000 m. Can take off and land in a field or on a dirt road, and in areas where other planes fear to tread. In order to fly an ultralight, no license is required but training is mandatory.
