Woodturning | The Emerald Walnut Bowl

Four weeks ago, I made a bowl from planks of purpleheart mixed with epoxy resin dyed with a satin white mica pigment (link here if you haven't seen it:    • Woodturning | The Frosted Purpleheart...  ). It was an absolute blast to make, and to date, I think it's one of the best bowls I've ever made. Because of how fun the process was, I just had to do a second, and for this bowl, I decided to go with a darker look. For the wood, I used planks of walnut, and for the resin, I dyed it with a bright emerald green mica pigment. Outside of that, everything in the build process was identical to the purpleheart bowl (with the exception of letting the wood oxidize). What do you think? As with many of my projects, I think this idea is infinitely repeatable with different wood species and pigments, but before I revisit this idea yet again, I have a long list of exciting projects I'd like to get to first!
