Belgian Cenotaph Parade: London 2022.

Due to the death of his nephew, King Albert 1of Belgium and in recognition of of the heroism and sacrifice of the Belgian army in the First World War, King George V of Great Britain bestowed a unique honour on the Belgians, never given to any other non-Commonwealth country, that of a yearly parade at the Cenotaph in Whitehall. Allowing their troops to parade through central London in uniform and carrying arms. This years parade was lead by the Band of the Irish Guards, with some help from the odd Coldstream and Grenadier bandsmen. The parade started at the Cenotaph where there was a remembrance service and wreath laying, they then marched down Whitehall into Horse Guards Parade and then down Birdcage Walk to finish at Wellington Barracks.
