Homemade Drum Sander 24 Inch Drum Sander Build

I found myself in need of a drum sander and wasn't about to spend $1500 on one so I built my own. My intent was to keep it as cheap as possible and to make it as fast as possible. I designed it around the materials I had on hand, I only needed to purchase $60 worth of supplies. I already had an electric motor salvaged from an old pool pump, and plenty of MDF and 2x4 scrap. It only took me 3 days after work to finish, around 9 hours. It works perfectly well for my needs. Maybe in the future I'll make a better one with an automatic feed table, but for right now I'm very happy with how this project turned out.
