This book is bound in a light blue cloth and comes with an illustrated dust-jacket by Botticelli with Dante in profile. It’s Smyth-sewn and opens up nicely. The paper is fairly thin and the text size is small. Otherwise it’s standard Everyman’s Library paper: acid-free, pH-neutral and cream coloured. The book is printed and bound in Germany. This edition is actually illustrated by Sandro Botticelli with 42 drawings and the notes in this edition are by Peter Armour.
