► "Momo" means peach in Japanese, and as Okayama prefecture is particularly famous for it's delicious peach production, Momo Okaden soon became the nickname of Okayama Electric Tramway. The company was founded in 1910, while their first tram line opened in 1912. With just 4.7 km track in total, this tram line is known to be one of the shortest in Japan.
