Tales of the Old Margreve by Kobold Press is a great location to set your Halloween games and it's a nice break from running Curse of Strahd again. There are endless options for how you could use this sentient forest in your game whether you're playing in Kobold Press' Midgard setting, Forgotten Realms, Golarion or even your own homebrew world. You could also make this forest a domain of dread and add some of the ideas from Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft if you like. Check it out! Creepy Trees from Printable Scenery If you're looking for creepy trees to print for your tabletop session you should check out the Contorted Trees set from Printable Scenery. When I ran the first level adventure, Hollow, I used one of the trees from this set and it was perfect.
